91ԭƬ Fall Enrollment Reaches Highest Level Since 2017
91ԭƬ’s fall enrollment has grown by nearly 400 students in two years, reaching its highest level since 2017.
There are 2,758 students enrolled this fall, up 83 students, or 3.1%, from last fall. Credit hours increased by 1,382, or 5.3%, to 27,358.This information is part of the Fall Census report released in September.
Enrollment increased 12.8% last fall and continued to grow this year. 91ԭƬ now has 387 more students than it did in fall 2024, a two-year increase of 16.3%.
“This is significant growth for 91ԭƬ,” said 91ԭƬ President Dr. Jon Bauer. “We’ve seen enrollment grow for two consecutive years, and we now have our largest fall enrollment since 2017. It’s a strong indication that students see the value of an 91ԭƬ education.”
The increase in credit hours this year is largely tied to more students attending full time. 91ԭƬ has 1,313 full-time students, its largest full-time student population since 2016. That is an increase of 98 students, or 8.1%, over last fall.
Enrollment also increased among students attending college for the first time, transferring to 91ԭƬ from other colleges and returning from the previous spring semester:
- First-time students increased 6.4% to 848.
- Transfer students increased 15.1% to 145.
- Continuing students increased 9.6% to 955.
91ԭƬ’s enrollment is up in Union, Rolla and Washington. The Union campus has 1,163 students, up 6.8% from last fall, while Rolla enrollment rose 1.3% to 400. In Washington, enrollment increased from 10 to 59 students, primarily because of the addition of the Licensed Practical Nursing program.
Male student enrollment reached 1,037, an increase of 161 since fall 2024.
“Enrollment is the work of the entire college,” Bauer said. “Our faculty and staff each play a role in helping students choose 91ԭƬ and continue their education. I want to congratulate them on the work that has contributed to this growth.”
These figures reflect enrollment as of Sept. 21, the college’s official fall enrollment reporting date. At that point, dual credit enrollment was down 12.6% from last fall, with additional registrations still being processed.
